HEISCO NDT Services capable to provide a wide array of NDT and special NDT services to our clients with highly accurate and timely services, which have been achieved through highly qualified and experienced Engineers and Technicians. HEISCO NDT Services is functioning in accordance with ISO9001, OHSAS18001, and ISO14001 requirements.

NDT & SPECIAL NDT SERVICES

● Radiography testing (X-ray & Gamma rays)

Radiography testing is one of the most widely used NDT methods for detection of internal discontinuities in various product forms (i.e. welding, casting, forging etc.) by Using X-Ray or Gamma rays Radiation.

● Computed Radiography testing (X-ray & Gamma rays)

Computed Radiography or CR is a digital image acquisition and processing system for radiography that uses computers and laser technology. CR images can be recorded on laser-printed film or transmitted and stored digitally, No Need to store the RT films.

● Digitization of radiography Films

Radiograph Film Digitization technology is designed to digitize the conventional radiographic film to obtain the benefits of digital images. With the use of digitizer, the conventional radiography films can be converted into soft copies and stored in the hard drives and used   for years.

● Ultrasonic testing (UT)

Ultrasonic testing is one of the most widely used & most sensitive NDT methods for detection of internal & surface discontinuities in various product forms (i.e. welding, casting, forging etc.) and materials by Using Ultrasonic sound Waves.

● Ultrasonic Thickness Gauging

Ultrasonic thickness gauging is one of the applications of Ultrasonic testing to measure the thickness of the various materials & components with very high accuracy.

● Automated Ultrasonic Testing (TOFD)

Time of Flight Diffraction (TOFD) Ultrasonic examination is very sensitive and reliable technique for weld inspection during fabrication and in-service inspection. TOFD can be used in lieu of Radiography, which will facilitate parallel working and no radiation hazards.

● Automated Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT)

Phased Array Ultrasonic testing (PAUT) is very sensitive and reliable technique for weld inspection during fabrication and in-service inspection. PAUT can be used in lieu of Radiography, which will facilitate parallel working and no radiation hazards.

● Magnetic particle Testing (MT/MPI)

Magnetic Particle Testing is the most common NDT Method for the detection of surface & near surface discontinuities in ferrous material components.

● Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT/DPT)

Dye penetrant Testing is the most common NDT Method for the detection of surface discontinuities in both ferrous & non-ferrous material components.

● Tank floor inspection by Magnetic Flux Leakage (MFL)

Large steel structures like storage tanks in oil & gas industries can suffer from corrosion in areas not usually visible to the eye. Magnetic Flux Leakage (MFL) is the most used and high speed NDT technique for tank floor inspection.

● Video scope inspection

Industrial video scopes are commonly used for visual inspection of inner areas of various infrastructure equipment as well as industrial products. Typically, tube heat exchanger consisting of a series of thin tubes, whereas plate heat exchanger consisting of grooved plates. They are well-known types of heat exchanger structures. Video scopes are often used to maintain tube heat exchangers.

● Holiday Test

Holiday test or a Continuity test is one of the non-destructive test method applied on protective coatings to detect unacceptable discontinuities such as pinholes and voids. The holiday detection procedure involves checking of an electric circuit to see if current flows to complete the electrical circuit.

● Tube inspection by (ECT, RFET, IRIS & MFL)

HEISCO quality services provide serveral methods to test tubes such as, Eddy Current Testing (ECT) is the mostly used NDT Method for the detection of discontinuities (corrosion, Erosion, cuts, cracks etc.) in non-ferrous material tubing in heat exchanges, coolers etc.  Remote Field Testing is very effective/reliable method for inspecting ferromagnetic tubes such as carbon steel or ferrite stainless steel. Detection and sizing of volumetric defects such as erosion, corrosion, wear and baffle cuts can be achieved with very good sensitivity.  Internal Rotary Inspection System (IRIS) is most effective, accurate and very reliable ultrasonic immersion pulse echo technique for inspection of heat exchanger’s, cooler tubes and boiler tubes, in oil gas and petrochemical industries.  Magnetic Flux Leakage (MFL) is an electromagnetic non-destructive testing technique used to detect corrosion and pitting in ferromagnetic material tubes. MFL is high speed inspection technique and very sensitive to pitting.
