Heavy Engineering Industries & Shipbuilding Co.(KSC) (HEISCO) is a major diversified Industrial Contracting, Marine and Trading company operating in the State of Kuwait and was the first shipbuilding and repair company in the Gulf awarded ISO 9001-2000 certification. The company was originally incorporated as Kuwait Shipbuilding & Repairyard Co.

Established in 1974 to initially meet the demands of the shipping and maritime industry in the Northern Arabian Gulf, HEISCO has since expanded its operations to meet the challenges of emerging markets.
